—— — · · ` · · features a collection of photographs the artist took around Los Angeles exploring the metaphors embodied in the fluidity of water, its ephemeral nature in connection to the psyche. As each individual life is made up of the unquantifiable small decisions we make in our days, our futures gain shape and momentum, flowing like water, while simultaneously washing away the inscriptions of our memories. The inaccessible essence of singular moments, caught in the flow of time, is captured so intimately that it appears to come directly from the artist’s mind’s eye. The theme of reflection is further honored by acting as the foundation for a space that facilitates introspection. The artist perceives flowing water, perpetually kinetic, as a source of inspiration, seeing it as a reflection of her own body moving through space and time. (Text by Hattie Schultz)
